Cómo se forma
- to be: I am (I'm) · you / we / they are ('re) · he / she / it is ('s)
- Negativa: I'm not · he isn't · they aren't
- Pregunta: se invierte el orden → Are you…? Is she…?
- Posesivos: my, your, his (de él), her (de ella), its, our, their
- Profesiones con a / an: I'm a teacher · She's an engineer (an ante sonido de vocal)
Cuándo se usa
- Decir quién eres, de dónde, tu edad, tu profesión o cómo estás: I'm 30 · I'm tired
- En inglés el sujeto es obligatorio: It's cold (nunca «Is cold»)
