El present perfect en inglés
Present perfect (Present perfect): experiencias y cosas del pasado unidas al ahora. Por ejemplo: I have finished.
Para qué sirve
- Algo que empezó en el pasado y sigue, con for y since: I have lived here for five years.
- Tus experiencias, sin decir cuándo: I have been to Japan.
- Un resultado que se ve ahora: I have lost my keys. (y no las tengo)
- Lo que acaba de pasar o aún no ha pasado: I have just finished. She hasn't arrived yet.
Cómo se forma
| Frase | Estructura | Ejemplos |

| Afirmativa | sujeto + have / has + participio | I have worked. She has worked. |
| Negativa | sujeto + haven't / hasn't + participio | I haven't worked. She hasn't worked. |
| Pregunta | Have / Has + sujeto + participio? | Have you worked? Has she worked? |

Errores típicos de hispanohablantes
I live here since 2019.→ I have lived here since 2019.En español dices «vivo aquí desde…», pero en inglés, con for o since, present perfect.I have seen her yesterday.→ I saw her yesterday.Si dices cuándo pasó (yesterday, last week, in 2019), pasado simple, no present perfect.I have went to Paris.→ I have been to Paris.Con have va el participio, no el pasado: gone, seen, done, no went, saw, did. Y «he estado en» es been.
