Errores típicos de hispanohablantes
I working now.→ I am working now.Falta am, is o are: sin él no hay presente continuo. Now I study, call me later.→ I'm studying now, call me later.Para lo que pasa en este momento, presente continuo, aunque en español digas «estudio».I am knowing the answer.→ I know the answer.Know, want, like o need casi nunca van en -ing.
El mismo verbo en otros tiempos
Con I am working now. («Estoy trabajando ahora.») como punto de partida, mira cómo cambia la idea según el tiempo:
- Presente simple: I work every day. — Trabajo todos los días.
- Pasado simple: I worked yesterday. — Trabajé ayer.
- Futuro (will y going to): I will work tomorrow. — Trabajaré mañana.
